This robo-caller is a scam-they claimed to be from the IRS and said they were contacting me because I had committed fraud, and if I did not pay them right away an arrest warrant would be issued. I work for the CA Dept. of Consumer Affairs and know for a fact that this is a scam. The call fit the profile of a scam perfectly: no letters about any monies owed (which is how the IRS always contacts people initially), threats of arrest, demanding payment immediately to avoid jail, etc., all the classic signs that I warn the public about all the time. Also, the phone number above, which they gave in the message, is different from the message header info on my voicemail service, which says that the number was 217-731-3057. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER!
